Capt. Piero Bravo

Born in Udine in February 1966.
Enrolled in the 99th AUPC Course and joined the Italian Air Force in January 1986.
Completed flight training on the SF260 and MB339 aircraft, and was awarded Military Pilot Wings on the G91T.
Transitioned to the F104, serving in the role of Interceptor Fighter with the 12th Squadron of the 36th Wing in Gioia del Colle (BA).
Served as a flight instructor on the MB339 with the 213th Squadron of the 61st Air Base in Galatina (LE), and later on the G91T with the 201st Squadron of the 60th Air Base in Amendola (FG), where he also transitioned to the AM-X aircraft.
Discharged in July 1995, with a total of 1,860 flight hours on military jet aircraft.
Hired in August 1995, he flew for Alitalia on the ATR42/72, MD80, B767, and B777 until October 2021.
Holds qualifications as Flight Instructor, FI, IRI, Aerobatic, and Glider Tow Instructor. Holder of an Ultralight Pilot Certificate (VDS) since 2018 and, as of this year, an Advanced VDS Instructor. To date, he has accumulated a total of 19,750 flight hours.
