FLY TEAM ROMA

The great interest that formation flying is having in Italy with the birth of many formations of both VDS and AG, has pushed us to affiliate these Teams under a single international standard that increases safety in this type of operations.

The standards of FAST USA and European FAST, are well known and our reputation for high quality in this discipline is reaping its fruits. The first Italian formation that has “affiliated” with us by embracing our standards completely is the “FLY TEAM” of Rome.

The FLY TEAM is a famous formation known in many national AirShows, it flies with 4 Tecnam P2002 aircraft, a low-wing ULM aircraft with a bubble canopy, ideal for training flight. Its Leader, Captain Antimo De Rosa has become our partner in European FAST and is part of our Standards Board. His responsibility of keeping the Team members updated regarding the technique and will carry out the suitability FPR checks on its affiliates. This operation will guarantee the possession of the FAST Card which certifies the level and currency in this discipline.

TEAM CHARLIE TWENTY SIX

TEAM CHARLIE TWENTYSIX
The Charlie Twenty Six Formation is composed of two light sport aircraft of the ULM category, they are designed for semi-acrobatic use, even if in Italy such use is not currently approved.

This is the second acclaimed Formation that has signed an affiliation with EUROPEAN FAST.

The two founding Pilots are the Commander Massimo POGGI and the pilot Lorenzo BRESCHI, for about 4 years till now, they have been present at various air shows at a national level, such as Trento Festivolare, Foligno Air Show, l’Aquila Air Show and Ladispoli Air Show, to name just a few.

Their program enriched with spectacular special effects, such as pyrotechnic flares and tricolor smoke bombs, thrill the public on every occasion.

The flight and safety standards of the Team are very high and their sharing with the standardization objectives of European FAST, has directed them towards the subscription as an Italian Signatory of our Association.
